Ashley was born prematurely and weighed in at 2 lbs, 8 ounces. The ICU was her home for a month. Her family members that the Christmas Day was the day she needed heart operation. Her parents' prayers were answered Christmas Day when they went to the doctors and learned that Ashley's heart was closed. Ashley never needed any surgeries. She was released to go home at 4 1/2 pounds after having been in hospital for 2 months. The girl is now in good health. She is of English, German and Irish ancestry. The family that she is from comes from Ireland. Ashley's acting debut came in an advert to promote the Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley, then 8, was spotted by the Ford Modeling Agency. She has worked consistently and remains with the Agency. When she was 10 Ashley decided to go into acting. Ashley went on to do 35 commercials before moving on to theatrical roles. Acting was now Ashley's passion. Ashley has dedicated her whole focus to the field of acting. Modeling and dancing have been left behind. Ashley is best known for her portrayal of Hannah Marin on ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was in Romeo Miller's (aka Lil Romeo), and also in Solange's "True Love" music video. Britney Spears was photographed during a Vogue Magazine shoot. The singer is in NLT "That Girl" as well as the music video.
