Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. He combines jazz from the soul genre with R&B in a distinct blend. From Broadway to European clubs and festivals, Sunshine has performed all over the world. Sunshine's title is Denise White. Even though she lives in Atlanta at present, Sunshine comes originally from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she began her career as a musician by singing and playing at the local church. Following her graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she began her musical journey on the Atlanta's R&B musical scene. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals"Stalk You A House 12, was only released in Japan. It's been remixed numerous times and has become a staple in her live performance. Additionally, she was a part of The Fighting Temptations soundtrack. In 2005, Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 to serve as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls the stage show of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained attention throughout the four performances during the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing during Barack Obama's Inauguration in 2009.
