Ashley was born two months earlier, weighing in at 2 pounds 8 ounces. The ICU was her place of residence for a month. Her parents that Christmas Day would be the day she needed heart surgery. Prayers were answered when her parents went in Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart was been shut. Ashley never needed any surgeries. In two months of hospitalization she weighed only 4 1/2 pounds at the time of her release. The girl is now in good health. She is of English, German and Irish heritage. Her mother's family is from Ireland. Her acting debut was with a 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll commercial. Ashley's career was furthered when The Ford Modeling Agency approached her when she was just 8 years old. In the years since, she's involved in publishing, and currently working for the Agency. When she was 10 She decided she would pursue acting. Ashley began her professional career in 35 commercials, and then moved to roles in the theatre. Ashley now has a passion for acting. Ashley concentrated all of her energy to acting. This left no time to model and dancing. Ashley is most well-known for her character of Hannah Marin on ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley has also appeared in Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and in Solange's music videos for the track "True the Love". Britney as well as Ashley participated in the Vogue Magazine Photo Shoot. The NLT singer appears in their music video "That Girl".
